Cerda Wedding in Parker, Colorado

If you have never been to Colorado, it is a beautiful state. Known for its Rocky Mountain views, outdoor enthusiasts, and generally nice people, I was looking forward to this wedding adventure. An old friend hired me to photograph his wedding, and I was honored to do it. The weather that day was overcast (which is ideal for lighting), but I was fearful of rain for obvious reasons. Fortunately the weather held up, and the ceremony went off without a hitch. It was a micro-wedding on the intimate side ( 40-50 people), and everyone attending was super nice and the energy was celebratory. There is something very sweet about smaller weddings, because you really get an opportunity to spend time and learn about the guests. What was unique about this wedding for me, was that I also got a chance to play some music with the band led by the groom. I played a few trumpet solos with them towards the end of the night, when I knew that I had taken enough pictures. All in all, it was a great night. My congratulations go out to the Cerdas, and I wish them a life filled with love and happiness!
